I've had similar issues lately, what are your test results?
One thing to try could be taking your Levothyroxine at night instead of morning. For some people it works much better.
You may be undermedicated or have vitamin problems. Being hypo definitely causes anxiety.
I would post the results in a new post when you get them on Wednesday, as this one will be far down the pile by then. Members will be able to tell you if your dose is right.
If your BW values come back up to par and your still experiencing anxiety . I would suggest that you split your T4 dose in half . Continue taking your Levo at 7AM as usual only this time 100mcg and the other 100mcg dose about 3:30-4 PM . I split my T4 dose too and I feel better that way . I've been dosing with my T4 like this for over a year and it's been working well for me . Sometimes just switching time splitting the dose even though it's T4 and most Dr's never heard about it . My Dr said he never heard about it either. There might not be any scientific backing or evidence . But as long as I feel the difference ultimately that's what really counts .
I hope it works for you too .
Thank you. Do you have a thyroid?
I don’t. Would splitting the dose be ok?
Hello paul1978 I had TT many years ago . I was dosed with Levo Only . I had many symptoms including palpitations . I finally found an Endo who supported me that I need some T3 with lowered dose T4 . Synthetic T3 was not working for me . Synthetic T3 was switched to NDT for the T3 mix with my Levo . It was a much smoother way for me to get my T3 . I'm not a good converter T4 to T3 . We have receptor sights in our body heart brain muscles etc. that use T4 T3 . TT thyroid patients don't have that any longer since we don't have our thyroids intact . We now need to supply manually the hormones that our thyroids once made .
