TRIAC for Hypothyroidism

Has anyone had a trial or is currently been prescribed this medication for Thyroid Resistance ?

I took it as a body builder and was very ill after I stopped, even though I tapered off as recommended, and then became hypo for ever. Seemed to work like T3.

Was you lll because you really didn’t need the drug due to using it for body building or did you have Hypothyroidism but couldn’t tolerate it ?

I feel alive on more T3 but my current dose is so much less than I can function on .

Despite me doing all I can for getting the T3 to be efficient.

I'd never had my thyroid tested at that time and had been fine with T3 for shows, but not triac (although plenty of other people were). But I have secondary hypo, so don't know if the triac had a bad effect or not. I was fine while taking it. Felt great.

I've never heard of this before, but scanned a few things with interest. I'm currently on a very large dose of NDT + T3, and continuing to get improvement with that, but pretty disabled overall.

Can you tell us a bit more about the treatment you're planning? Are you getting it on the NHS, or going it alone?
