There may be others but this is a link for one of our Thyroiduk's Trustees.
Check out Mary Shomon's books. They are informative, easy to read, and at least she has the disease herself.
Are Mary's books OK for UK patients?
Why wouldn't they be?
I thought they may contain information about medication and treatment that we don't have in the UK.
Well, it's a long time since I read one of them, but I'm pretty sure she mentions NDT - or Armour - which although is not widely prescribed in the UK, can be obtained without too much trouble. I Don't see what else there could be. I live in France, which is totally different both from the UK and the USA, but I found her books relevant. Hypothyroidism is universal, you know.
James I thought you might to read this link. I don't know if you are a Dad but it is for men. Most links seem to refer to women as more of us have thyroid dysfunctions than men.
Patrick Holford has written several excellent books on nutrition and he is British. PR

I think food allergy and sensitivities tests are the thing to do. Anything they recommend to eat, would not be healthy for someone who is allergic to it. We have sensitivities to nuts, seeds, dairy, gluten, oats, coconut.
