thyroid levels what do they mean?

I've been told my thyroid TSH level is 0.41 and that's within the 0.3 to 4.5 range. what does it mean as it's on the lower side. I've still got all my symptoms. they did a full blood check back in Sept and I was told everyhingincluding my T3 was fine. I need help as I'm not coping very well.

TSH doesn't mean anything on it's own. But to help you we need more information.

Are you diagnosed hypothyroid and on thyroid hormone replacement?

If so, how long have you been diagnosed and how much thyroid meds do you take?

What are your latest results? Please post them, along with their reference ranges (ranges vary from lab to lab), so we can interpret them.

Thyroid antibodies

And because thyroid hormone can't work properly if nutrient levels are low or deficient, it's best to also test

Vit D

B12

Folate

Ferritin

I'll have to find out I don't know my other levels. they keep inviting me in saying I have 'inflammation' could this be my antibodies ?

Ask at your surgery's reception desk for a print out of your results, don't accept hand written or verbal results as mistakes can be made.

Do you mean that you have had an appointment with the doctor to discuss this? What has been said?

Inflammation can be indicated by raised ferritin and/or raised CRP so I can't say whether or not it is your antibodies. Do you know that your antibodies have been tested? Were they raised?
