It's difficult to answer your question as we don't know if 0.81 is in range or not (as ranges vary from lab to lab we need your lab's range to interpret the result), and we don't know how different it is from your last result.

Are you underactivate or overactive?

What thyroid meds are you on?

TSH alone is not enough, for a full picture of thyroid status TSH, FT4 and FT3 should be tested.

If your doctor only tests TSH, it doesn't mean anything. TSH results need to be considered in conjunction with FT4 and FT3. If your doctor doesn't test those, there's no point in going to see him because he'll just reduce your dose and make you worse. If he does test them, you need the details.

Well, you could simply not make a appointment, carry on as you are and hope that no one notices you've not responded as requested - although some people find that it has been noticed and that their request for their next prescription has been refused, to bring them back into line! 😉 The better option might be to have a comprehensive set of tests carried out privately as so many of us do, and when you have (hopefully) the evidence that despite your TSH pituitary result being low, your thyroid hormones are unequivocally within range, you can present the results to your GP as evidence that a dose reduction is not required.

Looking at your previous posts, it looks like you take NDT

TSH is almost always suppressed with any NDT or T3

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also extremely important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if Thyroid antibodies are raised

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. Do not take Levothyroxine dose in the 24 hours prior to test, delay and take immediately after blood draw. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)

If also on T3, Or NDT make sure to take last dose at 12 hours prior to test

Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies or vitamins

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have special offers, Medichecks usually have offers on Thursdays, Blue Horizon its more random
