hey,

I ran out of Tiromel and will be 1 week without it. Before, I wasn on 25mcg in the morning and wanted to increase to 31,25mcg. Now, if my new T3 will arrive, can I start right with 25mcg again or should I do half in the am and half in the pm and then increase to 25mcg all in the morning over the next days ?

I started T3 new at 20 mcg when it was first prescribed, without a problem. I stopped it cold 9 yrs later when the CCG withdrew it, and a year later restarted it at 20 mcg, again without a problem. In between times I have run out, or missed a couple of days if I've gone away without my meds, and taken them again without a problem. If it were me, after only a week without, I'd restart at the existing dose.
