Is there a Support Group in Derbyshire?

I hope I am putting this in the right place, if not could admin put it as a post please.

I saw a post just recently for Midlands Thyroid support group and wondered if there are any in Derbyshire? I would really like to go to a group but sadly the Midlands group is too far away.

Hi I saw that post and considered going. I too live in Derbyshire but I'm desperate to be amongst fellow sufferers and see if we can learn anything from one another that I'm thinking it might be worth the travel. Whereabouts are you? Maybe we could see what this group is like and start our own up closer to home if there isn't one??

I’m in the East Midlands too. The meeting in Kenilworth is way too far away for me but I would like to go to something. I wondered if there was anything in the Notts/Derby/Leics area. 🤸🏿‍♀️

I am interested in making contact with others who have thyroid problems in the East Midlands mainly Nottingham and some of Derbyshire. I have been to the Midland support group twice in the past year - my low attendance is because of the travelling and other commitments. I have not taken in how to private message others but am happy to be private messaged by you and the Derbyshire ladies to see how near we are to each other etc.

A group of us meet up in Nottingham every so often to share experiences, but we are not a support group as such. We met up for lunch last time and are due to meet up again next month, if you are interested private message me for details.

I am over near Buxton but due to family commitments I could only drive an hour tops from there.
