jaws and neck swollen

Have thyroid surgery sept 28, 2018 and followed with RAI. My neck is swollen and my face and severe pain in my face. I am scared.

Please get an urgent appointment with your doctor but try not to worry. There could be lots of simple reasons for swelling and pain like tooth problems, mumps. However you must set your mind at rest with a thorough examination and get the correct treatment and pain relief. Ring the Gp in the first instance for urgent appointment. or if in England, ring 111 for Out of hours service if it gets worse and you can't get a GP appointment. If all else fails then it's A&E.
