I have an endo appointment on 14th Jan so asked my GP to do some blood tests to take with me. Just as I thought, my T3 hasn’t improved and I’m ‘acceptable’ at 2.88. The full blood count is also ‘acceptable ‘ but there are too many exclamation marks for my liking. What arguments do I need to me making to the endo to get some T3?

Exclamation marks mean out of range.
Why not post your results/ranges on here and members may be able to make comment which will be useful when talking to the endo.
Just replied on your other post that you are undermedicated and roughly the area where you need your results to be. As everything is low then you need an increase and see if that helps all of them, ferritin is low so suggested to you that you search SeasideSusie's post for guidance as get Vit D, B12, folate tested as well as they help the Thyroid work better as I suspect they will also be low.
I'm surprised a doctor did a spot blood test for cortisol, they really should have done an early morning blood cortisol to see what the results were. Gp's won't do the saliva test, Endo's will usually only do them if other tests have shown biochemical evidence. Which way did the doctor suspect an adrenal problem, did he think that your adrenal glands weren't working well - adrenal insufficiency or producing too much cortisol - Cushing's disease? For Cushing's disease they do an early morning blood cortisol test, at least 2 or 3 24 hour urines, & then the Dexamethasone suppression test. If it is for low cortisol, the early morning blood cortisol, if that's low then you should be referred to an Endo for a short synacthen test to see how your adrenal glands respond. A normal am blood cortisol should be around 450-600, if it is below 400 then further investigation should be done, If it is below 100 then it is an immediate diagnosis for Adrenal insufficiency. I have had Cushing's so know a lot about that, I now have secondary adrenal insufficiency as my pituitary gland doesn't work properly. Hope that helps.
I hadn’t realised he had done a blood test for cortisol. Which one is that?
