My story with thyroid gland

Part - 1

I'm sorry for delay I will explain to you all that happened to me from the beginning of the disease until today ....

Part - 1

Dear all

in 1996 I was in Oxford UK finishing my graduate as aviation Engineer .

One day I felt there was a small tumour in my neck from the bottom side but there was no pain just form so I went to Doctor in John Rodcliffe hospital. I so the doctor there requesting examination and analysis to do .

after the examination and the work of analysis of the task the doctor said There is a tumor in the thyroid gland, but according to the analysis there is no hormonal change my advice to leave it and do not take care of interest and I want to see you after 6 months in anticipation of any change, but I did not go to him .

So left UK to my Kuwait. And after a period of time means about the year 2000 I began to feel that there is something in my throat suffocating me when I am nervous and have a quick breathing and also when I play any sport .. Then I decided to see a doctor for the work of comprehensive tests and was taken interview with a specialist doctor and The doctor said you must work analyzes Blood and sonar in the area of the neck and in the thyroid gland area.

All the examination of blood and sonar was taken from the gland through the needle inserted ( Just a little sense of the needle) into the neck in the thyroid gland and this tests will show the results of the thyroid gland is natural or that the tumor No Cancer cells, but observed in the size of the gland size was large The reason for the so-called thyroid nodule is determined.

The doctor decided that the thyroid gland should be completely removed for fear of the tumor becoming a cancerous tumor, and also the large size of the gland and my breathing.

The procedure of admission to the hospital was completed and the surgery procedures were completed and the thyroid gland was completely removed successfully. When the doctor visited to me after the surgical in second day, the procedures were excellent and the wound was opened 10 centimeters and my health was excellent.

Now I will start giving Thyroxine as a replacement for the thyroid hormone doctor said after .I lift the hospital after two days I started to taking the first dose of Thiroxine 150 mg then the doctor said after 3 months You have to do a blood test for TSH, T4, and T3. This analysis will show the proportion of the hormone in my body and do I need to increase the dose or decrease the dosage. Within three months after the process I practiced my life very natural and then after three months worked analysis as recommended by Doctor and the results were in the upper limit of scale of natural and the doctor said To continued to take the dose 150 mg and I will see you after 6 months In order to perform analyzes of thyroid gland.

I will be back soon ... part - 2
