THROBBING THYROID GLAND

Hello

I'm looking for help on my current concern please.

Yesterday evening I could feel my throat throbbing quite heavily. I had all my gland removed, apart from lower left lobe, 30 years ago. I have never experienced this happening in the past and asking if anyone could shed any light on this. The difference between my normal life is 2 things. I am recovering after being hospitalised with pneumonia and I ate a large portion of soy beans with my evening meal.

I have also in the last 3 hours developed a very sore throat.

Thank you in advance

That sounds like the soy beans! They block the iodine from being taken up by the thyroid.

It will calm down and go away. Just don't eat them again! :)
