Sorry no replies yet

We see many people on here diagnosed under 30, some in their teens.

Many more probably have Hashimoto's under 30 years old, but often not diagnosed for many years after.

Well I discovered I had Hashimotos last year, age 29. I'm 30 and 2 months now though, so dunno if I'm outside your criteria :P

I think I could of got diagnosed years earlier if my doctors has tested antibodies and FT3 & FT4.

Shame they only check TSH when for years I complained of the same symptoms from getting Epstein-Barr which I believe was my trigger when I was 21.

My daughter is now 18 and always struggled with fatigue low B12 iron & vit D. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on her as they’re early signs of hashimotos but so far her thyroid levels are ok and we have a good GP where since I’ve been pushing now test for TSH FT3 & FT4 as standard.
