Can thyroid attacks come in waves???

Hi Guys,

I wanted to ask if anyone knew if thyroid conditions can fluctuate (i.e. come and go).

I have been feeling oddly better from yesterday onwards and I'm not sure why that is. I haven't had any medication but I have been resting a lot. I was feeling so bad on Friday night, however. I was absolutely freezing, and I felt so breathless and I had shooting pains all over my body. It was really hellish. Today I'm not feeling bad. I'm just wondering if thyroid attacks can come and go?

Thanks,

Stephanie.

I think it's true to say that one can have good days and bad days - or even good weeks and bad weeks. :)

thanks greygoose. I'm just wondering because sometimes I feel horrid and sometimes just a bit tired and achy but not too bad.

I'm having an off day today, it came on yesterday afternoon. Although I've been very well lately. Don't know what it is, can't pin it down, just feel 'one-degree under', as they used to say. :)

massive change of temperature might not be helping either!
