I agree with Aurealis, you just have to slog through one brand after another after another. Start with Levothyroxine, if you do well on that, life is easy. It will take at least 6 weeks per brand and much longer if you adjust your dose to a point where you feel well. How you feel is the most important factor. You could spend 6 months adjusting one brand then deciding that one will never work and so you switch brands and repeat - and at that point, JOIN THE CLUB! It took me 2 years, if that is any help.

To offer a different perspective, I've been taking levothyroxine for 40 yrs and have no problem with swapping makes or experiencing one being better than another; and I'd guess there are far more people out there who are happily and healthily taking their med and just getting on with life than are in forum with problems. Any make prescribed to you on the NHS will be safe and fit for purpose as a starting point; but may differ in which inactive excipients they contain. But unless you have known allergies or intolerances, I'd say there's no need to worry about one make over another at this point.
