So it seems I have T4 to T3 conversion issues. I have happily going along on 112mcg of Levo a day for several years. This tended to give me a suppressed TSH of less than 1, and a T4 of some times as high as 36 / 38 ( top range 22/24) (When my T3 has been tested it tends to be at the lower range). I have managed to avoid The GPs and have faught for keeping it there (as I feel best) when they have wanted to lower it.
Now I am back on the GP radar. I’m sure it will com up again. Is it bad to have such a high T4 Long term?
