When I had painful/burning feet it wasn't directly the underactive thyroid but the low levels of vitamin B12.

I take vitamin B 12 injections once every tree months and my feet have got better since then - maybe I should think of having it monthly - thank you for your reply

I am not sure but when I last had it tested it was at the lower end of the normal scale - what is the optimum level

I think your result last time was around 57. Would be better around 100 +

VitD is a steroidal pro- hormone - also anti-inflammatory - so much more than a vitamin ! I would take 5000 iu's daily. Gel capsules containg olive oil by Healthy Origins are good - from Amazon. Also take Magnesium and VitK2-MK7 - they are important co-factors. There are many options once on Amazon !

personally I'd expect muscle weakness to be a major factor.

if the muscles in your feet are weak then the paths that the nerves use to navigate their way through your feet will be constricted leading to pain.
