TATT = Tired all the time

CFS = Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

TCK = ?? don't know but possibly Total Creatine Kinase ??

T = ?? Thyroid ??

FBC2 = Full Blood Count - don't know what the 2 refers to

ESR = Erythrocyte sedimentation rate

TTG = Tissue transglutaminase antibody (one of the checks for coeliac disease)

DHBA = Don't know

UEs = Urea and Electrolytes

RPGL = Don't know

thankyou :) i think the full blood count has a 2 beside it because she said she will be testing my calcium levels, unless thats one of the other ones that we dont know?

and RPGL might be random plasma glucose

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4, FT3 plus TPO and TG thyroid antibodies and also very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Good they are actually testing for coeliac

Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies or vitamins

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.

All thyroid tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. This gives highest TSH and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, GP will be unaware)

lol my gp will never do a full thyroid test (i always goto medichecks to get that done) so im just going to ignore that test when it comes back lol. Im very surprised she is doing coeliac too, but considering she wont agree my thyroid is causing my problems, coeliac goes with thyroid problems so maybe that will go in my favor if it does come back positive, seeing as hashimotos antibodies and coeliac respond to the same gluten free diet.

Are you still eating a gluten rich diet?

Otherwise coeliac test will definitely come back negative

If result is positive then you will need to stay on gluten rich diet until endoscopy (max 6 weeks wait)

If negative then can immediately change to strictly gluten free diet

very much so lol, im very much a gluten bandit haha, it will be hard to give up if i have to but if i get a positive, then i will do it as i know it will be the solution of my problems
