Recommended foods to eat when overactive thyroid

Would anyone be able to recommend what foods to eat and what not to eat when overactive thyroid?

Rather than specific foods, I suggest you think of diet and I'd start with autoimmune paleo. Personally I've never been diagnosed with a thyroid condition but I believe my whole system (including thyroid) has been helped by strict AIP. I'm not fully recovered yet - further details of my conditions in my profile.
