I’ve healed my Hypothyroid!!

I thought I’d share my positive story. I was really unwell a few years back coeliac disease, adrenal fatigue, low thyroid function and poor t3 conversion. I saw various conventional consultants, with their Gold Standard testing, “ you don’t have Addison’s disease, you’re sub clinical, there’s no treatment, let’s test you again in 6 months, try some Levothyroxine.” I then saw Dr. Bernard Willis, who listened and had different tests looking at the whole picture, through a combination of diet, supplements & NDT, I felt much better & much more like me...but not quite ME! I was still searching. I then came across Anthony William, I read his book ‘Medical Medium’ this really resonated with me, there was a small chapter on thyroid and he mentioned the Epstein Barr virus (EBV) (glandular fever), I’d had this as a teenager & a thyroid infection in my early 20s. He then brought out a book called Thyroid Healing, this is when it all fell in to place. I found a bio resonance practitioner who could test me for EBV, it was positive and she treated it for 6 months until I was clear, I followed Anthony Williams Thyroid Healing Protocol for about 6 months. I am completely healed, I take no medication, no supplements, my diet is still really healthy with high levels of fruit & veg and gluten free. I have energy, I’m a normal weight, I’m not constantly plagued by colds & viruses, ear infections etc. I AM WELL!!

I hope this helps someone, I’ve been where you are and it’s the loneliest place in the world!

Yours

WHat treatment did you have to clear the Epstein Barr virus please? i thought we had markers for this for life and it didn't go away completely.

Thanks

Blood tests tell whether EBV is still active.

Hello MaryMary. It is wonderful to hear about success recovery stories and it is valuable to others on this forum to learn how recovery was achieved. I hope Wiredtobetired responds to your request soon. I suffered a very severe bought of Glandular Fever 20 years ago, was hospitalised with vomiting and a swollen liver that left me very debilitated for many years. It took 10 years to make antibodies against the virus. I tried everything and every specialist on and off the NHS to try and recover more quickly but to no avail. Recently I had a blood test that showed the virus was no longer active and apparently I have 'ghost' antibodies that recognise the Epstein Barr virus if I should encounter it again. I have read that this virus can live and multiply in the thyroid gland but don't quote me on this. I believe this was the instigator of my Hashi's. The Epstein Barr virus is apparently particularly virulent and has been implicated in several autoimmune diseases.

Wonderful news! I would be interested to know what protocol you used to make antibodies to the Epstein Barr Virus.

A brilliant informative article - thks for sharing - will look up Anthony Williams

I’m interested to hear more about the bio resonance. Does it target EBV and how many treatments did you have?
