Help with blood results?

Hi all. Any advice for my latest results. I think they look ok?

TSH 0.97 mlU/L 0.27-4.20

Free T4 21 pmol/L 12-22

Free T3 5.1 pmol/L 3.1-6.8

How do you feel?

With no thyroid, you might need FT3 a little higher and TSH a little lower

How are your vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 levels?

Do you supplement any of these?

Hi SlowDragon, I have to confess, they were my 25 year old daughters results. I just can't seem to get her to pay attention to her own health, so thought I'd ask on her behalf. She does still have her thyroid though. Sorry. Thank you for your answer though.

If that's because you think she might have Thyroid problems, her thyroid results look very good

If she has some symptoms, for full testing she needs both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested plus vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test antibodies or vitamins

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.

She does have thyroid problems.( Did have) She takes thyroxine and Erfa. She did ask our GP for a complete blood test. This is all he would do. I think a private test is the way forward. Thank you
