New endo appointment advise

Just wondered if anyone would help me , I have a new endo appointment this week after 4 failed ones . I really need help with this one as I do believe I’m thyroid resistant and don’t tolerate T4

I’ve been self treating with T3 .

Can anyone offer me help with this as I really do need it

There are two types of doctors

The one who care and in the process are knowledgeable

And the one who don't - for either of above

You're chances of meeting one or the other are 50/50.

You'll know from the very begging if your new Endo is willing to work with you and offer help or not.

If the 1st one - great, If the latter don't waste too much time and set to find another endo, 6th, 7th one and so on if needs to be.

Don't stress yourself over if your appointment fails. Good luck, I've been there myself.

Had an appointment yesterday with a new endo - the visit went out really good and I didn't get any negativity I got used to past 10 years from various GPs or pseudo endocrinologists

I’m so happy for you, I’ve been in the same predicament . My problems started 17and half years ago . It been one thing after another which is why I’m doubious it’s a long story . X
