Ok, vitamin D is fine. Are you doing a lot of exercise? If so, are you eating enough protein to retain muscle strength and getting enough calcium rich foods in your diet to maintain bone health?

I tried exercising but my muscle get fatigued very easily. I eat alot of protein food. But still have leg weakness.

Ask your doctor to look into it further. YOur test result says dihydrotestosterone is low but I don't know anything about it so can't comment about what might cause it. You need your doctor to explain it.

From what I understand too much protein equals too much iron.

Are you taking Statins, they can cause terrible muscle problems.

Ferritin is high. Optimal is around 30 listen to Dr Mercola on YouTube about iron overload

Are you sure ChrisCh, sure that you are referring to the same range, this certainly doesn't look high to me within the given range.

As I said ‘optimal ‘ pls listen to the YouTube suggested. I am at 139 and started donating blood to get my stored iron out. It’s too complex to explain here. Thx and good luck.

I was only trying to be helpful not to learn more, since I have the opposite problem I won't use up valuable time listening to the Utube but wish you the best of luck.

No problem glad you are doing well with no toxic iron. Too many of us have this issue and do not realize.

Hey Chris

Yes I'm confused because I was thinking I'm low on ferritin according to labcorp range.

Many people are confused with this. Dr Mercola explains it well.

This is IRON not ferritin. Serino Chris is confusing IRON with Ferritin so please be caustics. I myself suffered from extremely low ferritin and needed two ferritin IVs to get levels up. Absolutely, low ferritin can cause muscle weakness I myself experienced that- could nearly walk up a hill (I’m 31). Ferritin is also crucial for optimal functioning of thyroid gland and hormones. Your level is low and you could benefit from supplementing.

Iron and ferritin are two different things.
