My GP decided to send me for a "thyroid test", as my levo was increased from 50 to 100 in November. Results back today, but only TSH tested for, result 0.16 mu/L - range (0.34 - 5.6 mu/L), my GP says it's fine!!!
If I go back, can you suggest what tests I should ask him for please, I am getting more than a little frustrated.
I had a partial thyroidectomy 3 years ago and have now been told I have another goiter
Thank you in advance

Do you still have symptoms? If so you need to investigate further
For full testing you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG Thyroid antibodies
Also important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Low vitamins are extremely common and need correcting for Levo to work properly
Most likely you will need to test privately via Medichecks or Blue Horizon
All thyroid tests should be done as early as possible in morning and fasting and don’t take any Levo in 24 hours prior to test. Delay and take straight after
As your TSH was out of their range, they should have tested your T4 and T3 to see what was going on, and it is pretty poor of your GP and the lab that this did not happen. As SlowDragon says, you need the full range to actually understand what is going on.
