Does anyone know this conversion? I have been taking 1000mcg b12 dose for years. As soon as I became hypothyroid.I couldn’t get to Holland and Barrett for my usual brand, and ended up in boots that only had doses of 10ug
Does anyone know how this fares with 1000mcg? The pharmacist in boots openly admitted she didn’t have a clue.
Just trying to work out how many of the UG ones to take.
Thanks

ug is the symbol for mcg so not only is it an extremely low dose, it is also the cyanocobalamin form of B12 and the methylcobalamin form is recommended.

Supermarket and High Street own brands are generally pretty naff, cheap and usually contain the wrong ingredients and lots of unnecessary excipients.
