You're right to be unsure about H&B own brand supplements.

The best seleniums for absorption are selenium l-selenomethionine or yeast bound selenium. Avoid selenite and selenate.

A lot of selenium supplements have an unpleasant odour. I use Cytoplan cytoplan.co.uk/selenium as it has no odour and is a very small tablet. It is a yeast bound one as it is food state, but they say it is suitable for vegetarians, vegans and for people with Candida and yeast sensitivities so there shouldn't be any problems for anyone.

As for B Complex, good ones are Thorne Basic B and Igennus Super B and I think Amazon's prices for those are good at the moment.
