I could do with a bit of advice, since my first post it’s been a busy few weeks, I decided to up my Levo, doc said I needed an increase to 125, I’ve been taking 150 and 200 alternate days, my fatigue is so much better, which shows in the new results. I think the other results show I could do with more. Any advice would be helpful, I’m not sure what anti bodies mean. Thanks.

I'm sure one of the more experienced people on the forum will have a look for you but your Ferritin is marked as high on these results along with a very low TSH reading you look like you may be going slightly Hyper.
What were you taking before you jumped to 150-200 Levo? If you increase too fast that can usually cause that especially if the doctor was recommnding an increase to 125.
Hi karenk13 thanks for replying, I was on 100mg and my bloods came back very low, so I’ve mainly been taking 150, I feel like I’m getting better, the doctor has now agreed to keep me on 150. I don’t won’t to go hyper so probably best not to take 200.
Yeh i had a look at your last ferritin result from a month ago and it was gone from 105 to 165 are you taking an iron supplement or a multivit with Iron in it?
I thought that too, The supplements I’m taking don’t have iron in them. I don’t have an iron rich diet either. I think I’ll see how it goes with the 150 and retest in 6 weeks. It’s a strange one!
I've seen studies saying it can happen but is very rare. I do agree with the overmedication but as you said once you feel well thats all that matters I'll pop the study below just for reference
Have you read the entire study? Or just that synopsis? There's not enough information on there. You would need to know the blood test results and a lot more to come to any conclusions. It is possible to have Grave's and Hashi's at the same time, but without the antibody tests, we can't know anything for certain. They don't even tell you if the patients were diagnosed with Grave's or Hashi's, or whatever. Really not enough nitty-gritty there, to conclude that it is possible or how it happens.
Emat, you did increase by too much. Increases should only be a maximum of 25 mcg every six weeks. More than that can put too much strain on the body. Especially as your B12, vit D and folate are all on the low side.
You look as if you're verging on over-medication, but it could just be the antibodies causing that. Your TgAB are extremely high, at the moment, so you could just have recently had a Hashi's 'hyper' swing. But, if you feel well, then that's fine.
I think it’s my fault for taking 200 every other day, I’m gonna stick to the 150. Literally 4 weeks ago I could hardly move, sleeping literally the who day and constantly bloated. Right now I feel a lot better, I’m actually cooking and cleaning again, so I’m going to try and get my vitamins up and will retest in 3 months fingers crossed it works out ok.
