Hi Guys !

I have had chronically urticaria for the last 7 weeks , seems nobody knows what triggers and my dermatology appointment is only in October 2018

I live in Uk and been diagnosed with Hashimoto back in 2007 by a private doctor abroad which gave me temporary treatment until to go back to my GP and get diagnosed , unfortunately I am not diagnosed with Hashimoto as all the blood tests does not show any sign of thyroid problems but now with my chronically urticaria I did some research and it looks that might untreated thyroid problems triggers the urticaria

Did anyone experienced anything like me ? Does anyone here know any links between chronically urticaria and thyroid ?

What test I should ask my GP To check please ?

Thanks so much for all your help , I apreciatte it

Hi Catalinutzau,

I think I have experienced something similar. I believe that I have had Hashimoto's for close to 15 years, and it was only diagnosed in the past year. I have had itchiness and hives for the past 5 years, and I saw 5 different dermatologists over that time span who were all useless.

This is the product that has helped me the most, by far. Formula SF722 by Thorne.

I do not fully understand why it works, but I am working off of the theory that my intestinal tract is suffering from some sort of fungal overgrowth that spreads throughout my body and manifests itself as rashes in various seemingly unrelated body locations.

The only other medication that ever helped was oral Terbinafine (Lamisil) which is an antifungal in pill form. But, I have been advised that it is bad for your liver to take Terbinafine on a regular basis.

Somehow, healthy gut flora and Hashimoto's are closely interrelated, but I cannot begin to guess what mechanisms are involved.

You need to be diligent with the Formula SF722 which means taking 15 pills per day. It may take a month or two to experience improvement, but it did work for me. I have found that I still need to take these supplements every day forever or the itchiness symptoms return. I am told that undecylenic acid is relatively harmless, so I am happy to take it for the rest of my life. The itchiness was terrible.

Hope this is helpful.
