Hi so I’m on Levothyroxine over a year, I was severely hypo and diagnosed with hashimotos. I got repeat bloods done last week to discover what could be causing my fatique and they were as follows:
TSH 0.68 (0.2-4.2)
T4 27 (12-22) can’t remember FT4 but it was high
T3 2.7 (1.0-3.1)
TPO >600
I know my T4 is over but my doctors not too concerned so could it be causing fatigue?

Could be anything. Hashimotos patients often have low Vitamin D, B12, folate and ferritin together with a gluten sensitivity - not necessarily coeliac disease either.
Is that Total T3? You need Free T3 testing then you can see how well you convert T4 to T3. If FT3 is low in range then that's your problem, poor conversion. T3 is the active hormone that every cell in our bodies need, so if you don't convert well then you need T3 added to a reduced amount of Levo.
But you also need to address the Hashi's with a gluten free diet and supplement with selenium l-selenomethionine 200mcg.
Also you need optimal levels of Vit D, B12, Folate and Ferritin.
Thanks, I will ask for free t3 testing to see what the range is and will also get a vitamin panel done too 😊
I tried gluten free for 6 months and no difference, so thinking of trying dairy free but will definitely speak to my doctor about all this.. thanks again
There's no history in your Profile of your thyroid journey but I saw on a previous post it would about weight gain. This is a link which may be of interest:-
SeasideSusie has given a good response as usual. You may need a combination of T4/T3 to relieve symptoms. List of clinical symptoms and you should have none when optimally medicated.
