BBC East Anglia report on T3

I was watching the lunch time BBC Look East news and there was a report about T3. There was a lady talking about how T3 has changed her life and she now has to get it from Germany. Apparently people already on T3 should still be on it as long as it’s been prescribed from a specialist! Not sure how that works as my Endo had hers pulled and I get mine from Mexico! At least they are trying to highlight our on going struggles with T3!

Oh, I wasn't aware of this news item. Will see if I can do catchup. There are so many different variables in respect of T3 prescribing now - it's a mess!

I saw it too. She was also pointing out how expensive it is. I think she said it costs her over £700 per month.

German T3 is cheap - like the rest of the world. Approximately 31 euros per 100 tablets.

UK is £958 per 100 tablets

Perhaps she was saying it would cost £700 a month if bought in UK
