Who is Dr Lindner? If he is a Consultant endocrinologist we need to spread his point of view in the UK.

Answering my own question - he is in Pennsylvania in the US. Interesting to know if he is considered to be an “outlier” by the rest of the medical profession? Diogenes has posted articles written by Dr L about the relationship between thyroid hormones and those from

the adrenals and sex organs.

I assume he will be disliked by the Endocrinology Associations - like our Dr Skinner and Dr Peatfield. I think that all were trained in a very similar way i.e. before blood tests and levo were introduced as the 'perfect' diagnosing and treatment.

Our Dr Skinner (RIP) was a Virologist and a while after the introduction of tests etc he was being sent patients for a second opinion as they had 'mysterious diseases'. What Dr S found that they were undiagnosed hypo according to their clinical symptoms and treated them and also with options, i.e. NDT if they didn't improve on levo. Some did fine on levothyroxine.

This is another success who consulted Dr S as he also consulted in Glasgow as well as Birmingham and it saved her life.

Before blood tests were invented along with levothyroxine, that's how we were diagnosed upon clinical symptoms alone and given a trial of NDT. 'Modern' method makes more money for Big Pharma if we also get more prescriptions for clinical symptoms which aren't resolved besides remaining unwell.

Yes very true I have had so many prescriptions before I self medicated with ndt and now no prescriptions required
