Hi guys currently 32 weeks pregnant, got my bloods done 2 weeks ago, currently on levothyroxine and 10mcg of t3. I was able to have a sneak peak of my blood results today at midwifes...
Tsh 0.03 ( 0.27 - 4.2)
T4 12.8 (12-24)
T3 5.2 don't know the range on this actually surprised it was done on nhs
My tsh is low but the rest seem OK! My t4 is a little low. Waiting on owed back from endo, do you guys think he is likely to reduce. The t3 and t4 are in range.. I don't feel hyper at all more hypo! I know my t4 isn't great! Baby doing well growing weekly!

You shouldn't have to take a sneak peek. You are legally entitled to a print-out of your results. They are your results. Just ask at reception.
FT4 is bound to be low when taking T3 - but perhaps not that low. He might want to increase levo. Impossible to say what he'll do about the T3 without the range. But, it also depends on whether he's obsessed with the TSH. But, the TSH, also, is bound to be low when taking T3. Everything depends on his level of knowledge of thyroid.
I'm hoping he just ignores the tsh and goes by the other two levels. The t3 is in range because it wasn't flagged red. I feel like I could be doing with more levo to be fair very tired. Like you say it depends on the endo, my last tsh was low Aswell but not as low as it is now.thank you very much for taking the time to reply to me grey goose! I appreciate it🙂
Highly unlikely he will be raising that 😔😔 I was only on a 6 month trail and became pregnant just hoping I'm going to stay on it! It has been a blessing lol thank you grey goose
He's quite nice and was open to me trying it although stated he only had one other man on it, here's hoping thank you. Any suggestions of what I should do if he tries to lower dose! Just carry on with what I'm taking 🤔 Il just cross that bridge when I come to it I think.
In late pregnancy, FT4 is often towards the bottom of its range. This is because oestrogen is now high and this has opened up the cells so that you don't need as high a T4 level to get adequate access. FT3 is fine. Wouldn't worry about low TSH because this is probably being suppressed by the T3 you take.
Thank you diogenes, I'm hoping for the best that consultant doesn't reduce. It was first time I ever seen my t3 tested so hoping he's on the same wave length. Good to know about the t4 and oestrogen Aswell I didn't know that, thank you I appreciate it.
