Wondered if anyone had tried these methods to help reduce the symptoms of low thyroid?

I use both and find them great!! Reiki makes me feel worse for a day or two but then I feel great afterwards. I have recently started meditation too which helps x

Thanks, I’m on all the meds/supplements & I have had reiki before, but I was sceptical- I have an offer to have both so I’m going to try them. Glad it soothes your condition x

Hiya!! I've never tried it for thyroid but have had reiki in the past and love it. Its weird you posted this because when i used to have Reiki the practitioner used to complain my throat chakra was severly blocked. I hadn't been diagnosed at that stage. Did she know?

Hello Rennixon,

I have tried Reiki once as part of a paper that I was doing on the subject, not as treatment for anything. I have found it to be such a great experience as I left feeling very calm and relaxed, I also felt the energy all around me when the practitioner was balancing my energies. A funny thing that she mentioned to me was that she had a challenging time with my throat chakra... I didn’t know I was hypo at the time. Perhaps it was just a coincidence. I recommend Reiki as a way to reduce stress.
