Reflexology is wonderful - it is not a cure in my opinion - but it can bring relief from so many symptoms. The Thyroid reflex is around the base of the nail of the big toe and roundabout .....you can work the reflex yourself. Just play with your feet until you find sore or painful blocked energy - give it a good circular massage - release and return. Hubby massages my feet without knowing anything about reflexology - when my back is unbearable - and I drift off to sleep - PURRRRFECT.....

I agree Marz, those sorts of things might not cure you but they don't half make you feel great.

It is a well deserved treat - so enjoy ! I had a massage yesterday and slept like a baby last night.....so book one of those next :-) I was given a book on Reflexology many moons ago - and there is quite a bit you can do for yourself - in between treatments.

Will do, thank you. I did used to enjoy a massage but with the fibromyalgia it is to painful - but as soon as that is under control I will be having a massage - well worth the money & by the sounds of it so will the reflexology .......... yippeeee

Sorry to hear you find massage painful - I do understand as I do have a few oooh's and aaah's whilst it is happening. Feel its worth it as I feel better afterwards ! Just added the link above from an earlier post of mine - perhaps you missed it..... Please ignore if you have already read it.... :-)

Thank you for the link - I must have missed that before - sorry.

underneath my skin it feels all lumpy, when I fell and bruised my self I got this great big bruise with big yellow lumps - so in my case a massage is agony - but I am working on my gut health and will be removing all dairy, gluten, wheat etc from my diet and have been taking lots of good supplements for my leaky gut & low stomach acid - A big step in the right direction : )

Gosh that's so good. It's a big step. Don't think you will feel fantastic straight away - just be gentle with yourself and remember Rome was not built in a day :-) Although some people do report feeling good very quickly - we are all so individual. Wishing you well.....

Hi marz, not seen any comments from you lately. How is yoga? Are you still going to classes?

I'm fine thank you. Am teaching 3 times a week plus some extra one2one lessons for people on holiday :-) Also very busy with guests in our studio - two leaving on Saturday and another two arriving. I come to the computer when I need a sit to recover - when the back is screaming :-) Lots of lovely swimming too. Hope things are good for you.....and that you are well.

Yeh things are good, I am looking for a venue or two to start teaching yoga. I knew you were passionate about yoga. I didn't know that you teach. Glad you are well. Take care
