I'm 42 with a history of recurrent miscarriage and infertility. I've been having reflexology for 1 year & having trouble getting diagnosed.

Have you had any tests for Hughes Syndrome? Mary F on this forum has plenty of info on the condition. You could try sending her a pm. Xx

I think a test for Hughes Syndrome (antiphilosipid or sticky blood) and perhaps lupus is well worth requesting. My diagnosis was life changing.

B12 deficiency can cause infertility along with hypothyroid disease.Took me 6 mths to get a diagnosis & that was only after seeing diligent Gp .Level should be > 600 Highest undiagnosed illness in the world due to drs lack of knowledge.

Adrenal insufficiency could also be added to the mix - drrind.com Low TSH FT4 FT3 ...there is a table explaining within the website....

This is a half-hour video. The first person this doctor cured when just a newly qualified doctor was his father.

I have a history of infertility which, I have only recently discovered, was probably down to undiagnosed PCOS, which, in turn, is very often related to thyroid autoimmunity. I have also only fairly recently found out that I have Hashimoto's, so now my difficulties in conceiving are now, in hindsight, making sense.

Maybe in addition to all the other advice received, you could ask for your thyroid antibodies to be checked - I always had symptoms, but all the usual blood tests came back as 'normal' (TSH, T4, T3), until TPO Abs were checked.

Thank you for your replies. I am concerned with the lack of support I am getting from my GP and so saw an endocrinologist privately who has still dismissed my results. I saw Dr Peatfield Durant in the middle of last year who suggested having a urine and saliva test test done and giving me natural thyroid and adrenal vitamins but was reluctant after spending thousand of pounds on miscarriage advice which wasn't recognised by the NHS. When pregnant I am being treated for sticky blood and NK cells so take every piece of medicine available. My last round of IVF I also had the lateste egg / soya and still miscarried at 8 weeks.

Looks like I will have to have the tests MR P D suggests and fingers x i

I am so sorry your IVF failed. It is more than disappointing and hope if your thyroid gland problems are fixed that you may fall pregnant.
