Protein Bound Iodine Test
In the PubMed index of scientific and medical papers, the most recent reference to protein-bound iodine (PBI) test that I could readily find was from 1978:

The reason I've been reading up again is I am thinking through my levels - I find I need quite a bit of T3 and its best to keep T4 down.
