Been exhausted for ages but put it down to the perimenopause and having children - GP did blood tests last year
TSH 2.13 [0.35-5.5]
T4 12.0 [10.0-19.8]
This all looked fine but have since seen others say it’s borderline- any advice?

They are euthyroid (normal) albeit FT4 is low in range. You could do with FT3 testing as well, also thyroid antibodies, plus Vit D, B12, Folate and Ferritin as low nutrient levels or deficiencies can have similar symptoms to hypothyroidism.
Your TSH says your thyroid is struggling a bit, but you aren't quite hypo, yet.
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4, TT4, FT3 plus TPO and TG thyroid antibodies.
Plus very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12. These can cause symptoms in their own right or be low enough to affect Thyroid
Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.
All thyroid tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. This gives highest TSH and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, GP will be unaware)
If antibodies are high this is Hashimoto's, (also known by medics here in UK more commonly as autoimmune thyroid disease).
About 90% of all hypothyroidism in Uk is due to Hashimoto's. Low vitamins are especially common with Hashimoto's. Food intolerances common too, especially gluten. So it's important to get antibodies tested.
Thanks everyone- they also did ferritin <4 mg/l
B12 416.0 nh/l
folate 8.66ug/L
and a full blood count which all looked fine. Not sure if any of that is antibodies...? What should I look for?
I thought they did vit D as well but I can’t see it on the printout. I will ask about it next time I’m at the GP.
Thanks again

Your ferritin is <4???? What has your GP said? That level of ferritin will be causing problems and symptoms.
Who said your FBC looked fine? Post the results with reference ranges and we can see.
Antibodies aren't included in FBC. They would be down as Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) and Thyroglobulin (Tg) antibodies.
What are the reference ranges for B12 and folate?
Sorry, the ferritin had 2 parts, one on the 2nd page
It says ferritin serum C reactive protein level <4mg/l [0.0-6.0]
And also
Serum ferritin level 54.2 ug/L [10.0-291.0]
Reference ranges for
B12 [211.10-911.0]
Folate >5.38
I’ll take a photo of the full blood count and upload it
