Are GP's test's for liver & kidney function identical to ones privately tested?

Just asking, as I realise GP's don't thoroughly test for thyroid 🙄

Id suggest the answer is generally yes. For example, a quick look on Medichecks indicates eGFR, creatinine etc for kidney which is the same as for GPs and secondary care eg nephrologists according to my mother's experience. See medichecks.com/kidney-funct...
