I had a total thyroidectomy in January of this year for Graves’ disease. I’m on 100 mg Levothyroxine and had two normal periods following the surgery. Since then I’ve missed two periods. I’m 48 so wondered if I’m either menopausal or is this due to the Levo? My periods have been normal in the past. Anyone else had this problem on Levo. Many thanks x

This is a post from another source which sounds similar to your experience:

Thank you shaws
Maybe a hormone replacement which contains all of the hormones a healthy gland would might work better for you, although in the UK it will not be prescribed. It is also trial and error.
Many on the forum have sourced their own.
