Private blood test

Will my gp take private blood test results seriously? I recently had medichecks thyroid vit plus done and was going to go to my gp and discuss results. My gp surgery has started a new system so you have to give your symptoms to a ‘care navigator ‘ who then gets a doctor to call you back. It’s difficult to actually get an appointment and I’m worried if I mention I want to discuss results I won’t get appointment.

Some doctors are happy to accept them, some not. Medichecks uses an accredited lab, same as NHS, so results are reliable.

Can you not just tell the care navigator that you wish to discuss your hypothyroidism?

Yes Susie I can. I know it probably seems obvious but I have a few things I want to discuss and don’t know where to start. I’ve been feeling anxious and my brain feels foggy so maybe don’t come across very well. Thank you for your reply.x
