Just read in another thread that diet isn’t the only thing that can trigger antibodies. One of the things mentioned was metal toxicity. Can anyone shed any light on the statement please. I have really high iron levels and high antibodies so this is making me think the two could be related?

I thought it was high 216 range 13-150? I have not been supplementing. Didn’t know about toothpaste will buy floride free in future. I’ve arranged to give blood on Tuesday so that will hopefully put me back in range ? Thank you for the response. Hope you’re enjoying the sun 😜
It can be MUCH higher if you had hemochromatosis (nearer 1000)
My ferritin is always slightly high, it can be symptom of Hashimoto's apparently. It did improve temporarily and just drop down into range when first started on T3. But now back slightly over range
Thanks SlowDragon I found both articles really interesting. I like the idea of adding to the diet rather than taking a Vitamin tablet. My diet is awful I’m a very poor eater, not a foodie at all. It will be interesting to see my iron results when my dose of levo is finally optimal. Off out now to soak up some VitD, enjoy your day. 😎
