I’m not sure whether being over-medicated with thyroxine, as opposed to having an overactive thyroid, works in exactly the same way.

diogenes posted a paper that said it doesn't. But, in my experience, over-dosing on T3 can lead to very low cholesterol - and I do wonder if that's not what increases risks of heart attacks rather than high T3...

But, whether or not a high thyroxine level would have the same effect, depends on how well you convert.
