Which DHEA?

Hi can anyone help me please. My practitioner has recommended 7 keto DHEA but the purchase site he gave me seems to have vanished. Does anyone know of a good uk brand I can buy. Many thanks.

Aw thank you Spareribs. As it was no one PM'd me either so I researched as best I could and have ordered some. It's just more reassuring if someone recommends a product they have tried. Brilliant forum, thank you for all your support.

Hi Deecam, just seen your question of seven months ago and I'm wondering whether you found any 7-Keto DHEA?

I was advised by a private doctor three years ago to take a small dose of DHEA for 2 months but didn't take the advice then. However I've been reading about 7-Keto DHEA whuchvseems better but can't find it. I was advised to buy it from Biovea.com but they don't have it and have many poor reviews regarding products not turning up. Just wondering whether you managed to get some?

Hi Surehope sorry for the delay in replying I've not felt too well lately. I did manage to locate and but 7keto Dhea from the USA where they sell it as a supplement. I cannot vouch for whether it is any good however as I only took it for a couple of weeks then became very ill and stopped (I would stress NOT I'll due to the DHEA) It turns out that I had Addison's disease and bless me it would take a miracle not a supplement to raise my adrenals! The DHEA I bought was DZ LOGIC. dzlogic.com

As I say I do not know how good they are but perhaps worth a try. My endo is still balancing my meds and I see her again in January when I am going to ask her about DHEA. I don't hold out much hope she will prescribe but she may recommend a private source (but again I don't hold out much hope!) If she does, however, I will let you know.
