Full thyroid test

Hi all can anyone recommend Blue Horizon thyroid plus 11 test? Medichecks are saying they don’t recommend the test being done via finger prick and advise blood draw which increases the cost. Blue Horizon claim they can do the full 11 tests via finger prick. Any reviews would be greatly appreciated. 😜

You can do the Medichecks Ultravit with a fingerprick test, I have done it. They require 2 x microtainers to ensure there is enough blood for all the tests, and I think Blue Horizon want 2 x microtainers also. Medichecks say on their website in the information about this test that it can be done with a fingerprick test although they suggest venous blood draw to ensure enough blood.

If you bleed well enough with fingerprick tests and think you can fill 2 microtainers there's no reason not to go with Medichecks, especially as the Ultravit is on special offer this month.

Thank you SeaSideSuzy. I am confident I can fill the micro containers. I emailed medic heck and they have advised me that if there isn’t enough blood to complete all the tests they will give me a free finger prick test, so I’m happy to try the ultra test when it’s time for my next test. Thanks for your help 😀

Make sure you are well hydrated a couple of days before blood draw and that arms/hands are warm.
