Tell the doctor why you think you have a thyroid problem, ask them to do a thyroid function test to either prove or disprove that you do have a problem. If they refuse all is not lost, if you go to the thyroid uk main website you can find a link to companies that will do a private test for you. Once you have you results along with their reference ranges, make a new post and someone will give you their opinion. Good luck.
