dark urine

Just wondering if hypothyroidism can cause dark urine.....

In Jan. of 2016. I was placed on Levothyroxine 0.025 MG for a low thyroid.

In Jan of 2017, I cut the dose in half because it caused me to sweat so much. I could not tolerate anything above 70 degrees. (Doctor's OK)

In Jan. 2018, I quit taking it all together.... (Doctor's OK)

Now, since Feb. 2018 my urine is dark... sometimes as dark as a walnut color. I drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. All my urine and blood tests come back as normal. All the doctor's are mystified............. Can it be a result of quitting those pills?

Have they checked liver function? I had the same a couple of years ago, turned out to be HepatitIs E, apparently caused by undercooked pork!
