Urine & salvia acid

Hi, was taking T3 cynomel by Sanofi in April 2018, felt very well, by Xmas started to suffer from discomfort in my right kidney area and some soreness in my tummy. It got slowly worse and now have a burning sensation from my mouth right through my digestive system, urethra and bowel. Wasn’t able to see anyone over covid. Was finally given an appointment with urologist but nothing wrong in my bladder. Been testing my urine and salvia for over 18 months but my GP doesn’t seem very interested.

Does anybody out there have problems with this particular T3.

What are your latest thyroid results looking like? Often kidney pain is a sign of over medicating

Hi Eeyore, my recent results were ‘normal no action.’

What range do they use? fT4 seems very low do you find that works for you? I don't convert well but need a decent level of fT4 for some reason?

Though not unusual on T3 only... how about your sex hormones? Oestrogen plays a big part in bladder/ kidney health... well in everything really

the T4 was just under rang so GP asked me to increase dosage a little.

Yes I have it prescribed to me here in France but it has never suited me. I have stopped taking it now. It's so fast acting an causes me to feel sick too. I have never had any gut problems at all, so I think it's the T3.

Thank you for the info, it is funny that I was fine for the first 6-8 months. What do you take now?
