Having mostly posted negative stuff in the last year I wanted to report an improvement and thanks to all who are involved in this website and thyroiduk. Where would I be without you? Went to see a private gp from Louise's list of people's experience . He prescribed NDT and 2 days after coming off Levothyroxine woke up without headache and didn't have to drag myself out of bed. I know its early days ( on NDT 9 days) and things could get worse before they get better but I was getting breathless on short walks and that's better now. Befor was wondering when I should book myself into a care home but now feel more confident that its possible to improve your health with enough research and advice.

Your progress is great news. You must be feeling more confident about your future. It's great to hear when people are on the up. Long may it continue. All the very best, Paula.
