Sorry for this being a bit complicated but I'd really love some advice.
I had a blood test a couple of weeks ago (in Spain). Unfortunately I messed it up as I stopped both my T3 or T4 for 24 hours prior, and also last night I remembered that the advice is to stop taking B vits for a while prior to a test as well, which I didn't do. How does this affect the results?
T3 1.02 (0.59-2.00)
T4 1.20 (0.80-1.80)
I'm not sure if I'm undermedicated or not now??
The same blood test also flagged up that I'm prediabetic but I have just read a post on here saying if you are undermedicated that can be the cause, so I'm very anxious to find out what's going on.
Many thanks for any help or advice x

The two tests recommended (NHS rarely test) are Free T4 and Free T3 and the following link tells you the reason why. If GP or lab wont ask him to test B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate. You can get the 'frees' taken privately and it is a home pin-prick blood test. We have two labs that can analyse these. Always draw blood at the very earliest and fasting (you can drink water) and allow a gap of 24 hours between last dose and test. Everything has to be optimal and deficiencies in vits/minerals can also cause symptoms.
I've been using Blue Horizon/Medichecks for a while now but I'm in Spain now so obviously can't use them anymore
My test was a fasting blood test but as I have mentioned I stopped both my T3 and T4 before hand by mistake so not sure which way that would skew the results.
I was under the impression that it was all B vits but apparently it's just Biotin, but as I take a multi B it would have that in.
Yes, do put up a fresh post as I think your results will be skewed. There must be a place in Spain where you can get tests but I'd enquire first about the cost.
