Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with Adrenal Insufficiency last month (Feb), and I saw my specialist for the first time last week.
He said that having Fibro and CFS/ME is going to make my controlling of my illness a bit more difficult. I was a bit taken aback and didn’t think about asking what he meant. Has anyone else got all conditions and how do you manage the stress from Fibro pain with every day life?
Thanks in advance.

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.
All thyroid tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting
If on Levothyroxine, don't take Levo in the 24 hours prior to test, and if on T3 don't take 12 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, GP will be unaware)
If antibodies are high this is Hashimoto's, (also known by medics here in UK more commonly as autoimmune thyroid disease).
About 90% of all hypothyroidism in Uk is due to Hashimoto's
Hi, I was just wondering what exactly is meant by antibodies? I had a lot of tests done a while ago, and wondered if they included an antibody test. Does the test specifically give a result for "antibodies"? My tests included haemoglobin (various categories ), white blood count and numerous other things that I knew nothing about!
I did not want to go down the avenue of paying for tests until I'd seen my gp, which I did this morning. But that was too late to take advantage of the special offer.
