LDN Experience

Hi

I just wanted to share with you all where I am up to with taking LDN. I started taking 1.5mg two weeks ago, with a view to increasing every fortnight by 0.5mg. I was apprehensive about taking LDN, due to it being outside of my doctors treatment. The first two days my fatigue increased, but I didn't notice any other side effects. I persevered, continuing to take it at night before going to bed. After the first two days, the increased fatigue disappeared. Two weeks in, I feel I have more energy that I did before taking LDN. I have not yet noticed any improvement in immune system. I am due to have my blood work done in the next week, so I will let you all know if the LDN has had any effect on my levels. The nurse did say to keep an eye on my TSH as I might need to reduce my dose of Levothyroxine now that I am taking LDN. I will keep you all informed of progress. X

I'm also taking LDN. My doctor said it usually takes months to have an effect, if it has an effect on antibodies. My dose was raised to 4.5 mg in 10-12 days. It may be too early for your labs to show a change.

I think that on MS websites I have read that it takes 6-12 months to kick in.
